Jaya Khullar is a sophomore from Little Rock, Arkansas, double-majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society and English. A lover of literary art since she was young, Jaya’s writing draws upon her South Asian heritage and aims to highlight the complexity of human relationships. Ananta Beach is a magical realism story about the lack of freedom South Asian women have, and the wonderful capabilities of love and mutual understanding to overcome such oppression.
